Coota is a quiet country town, located one and a half hours from Canberra and 1 hour from Wagga. More importantly, it’s only 30 minutes from the Junee chocolate and licorice factory! It has no traffic lights except at railway crossings. There are lots of retirees; housing is cheap; it has the 2nd lowest crime rate in NSW; it’s the birthplace of Don Bradman; has lots of ovals and parks; and they take their sport very seriously. Bimbadeen Bible College (now in recess) was first the 1st hospital in Coota and then a girls’ home before becoming AEF (Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship) Bible College.

Richard & Sue Davies
Support Workers

Our role is to provide support for Aboriginal churches in the Northern Territory. This includes: writing Bible studies and Sunday School materials for AIM centres that require it; telephone, email, text message counselling and encouragement as needed.

We have been asked to travel to the NT for a period of 3 months to visit various AIM centres to teach and encourage.

Richard is part of the Simplified English Bible translation team, under the auspices of Bible League. It is for people who have limited English.

Please Pray
That we will be appropriate and God honouring in every situation we find ourselves.
