August 12: Day in the Word

Come along to this excellent event, run regularly by Dubbo Christian Family Church. This time, you will hear Greg Goswell from Christ College give 4 talks from the Book of Jonah.

You’ll be encouraged by the growing number of folk who attend, usually from several centres of ministry in the western region. A children’s program runs alongside the adult teaching sessions. Can you come? Why not make it a weekend road trip and stay for Sunday morning!

September 9+10: Katoomba ReachOut

Katoomba ReachOut, a ministry of Missions Interlink, is an annual conference that has been going for over 30 years. It draws together mission agencies, bible colleges and churches with the purpose of helping ‘Christians find their place in global mission.’

There is opportunity to hear talks from excellent speakers, attend seminars and chat to a range of mission agencies and bible colleges at the expo along with many other great opportunities.

AIM has been represented at Katoomba ReachOut for over a decade now (and quite a few times before that as well). We would love to see you there!

October 21: Manning Valley ReachOut

Manning Valley ReachOut had its inaugural conference in 2015 and was commenced in partnership with the Katoomba ReachOut team and Missions Interlink. The need was seen for regional Christians to have access to the wonderful opportunities afforded by such an event.

For this one day event, there will be quality bible talks from Simon Gillham, professionally led seminars, a mission agency expo (we had 30 mission agencies in 2015 and hope for a similar number this year), along with a bookstore and an excellent kid’s program.

AIM plans to be there. We would love to see you there!

December 2-5: National Training Event

National Training Event runs every year in Canberra and is put on by the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES).

This excellent conference draws nearly 2000 University students from all over Australia, the Pacific and beyond to come together and be challenged from God’s word about his purpose for the nations. The individual campuses are then encouraged to embark on missions as teams to various locations across the country.

As part of the conference, AFES invites some mission agencies to attend so that students can be exposed to various opportunities to serve across the globe in their future.

AIM plans to be there. We have loved being there over the last 7 years, walking and praying with students as they make plans for their lives. If you are a University student or in Year 12, we would love to see you there!
