Gulargambone is a small town, situated on the Castlereagh River. It has a population of around 500 people, and is 490km north west of Sydney. It boasts being close to the Warrumbungle Mountains National Park and is famous for their award winning community run cafe: Cafe 2828.
Stephen serves as AIM’s Field Director, ensuring mission workers are supported in ministries throughout NSW, QLD and NT and liasing with indigenous church leadership.
He and Fiona are involved in youth ministry: Scripture in schools at Gulargambone and Warren, chaplaincy in Warren and a youth group in Gilgandra.
Stephen regularly assists with preaching and teaching by invitation; encouraging pastors and Aboriginal churches in their gospel work, as well as facilitating partnerships with the wider church.
Please pray Stephen & Fiona will be able to continue their ministry and cope with the various pressures associated with it, especially Stephen being away from home regularly for ministry and meetings. Pray that Stephen & Fiona might equip many in their work of the gospel.
