On the Eastern side of the NT between the Barkly Tablelands and Gulf of Carpentaria lies the small town of Borroloola. It is on the traditional land of the Yanyuwa people, and now has large numbers of Garrawa and Marra people. Several rivers in the region make Borroloola popular with tourists, and it has had changes due to the nearby McCarthur River Mine where some Indigenous people are finding employment.

There has been an AIM Church here since the 1950’s, and has had strong Aboriginal leaders over many of those years. There is currently a small group of faithful believers who have regular services and conduct outreach meetings in one of the various camps in and around the town each week.

Please Pray
Pray for new believers who can develop into strong and faithful leaders, and pray that the current Christians will seek to effectively reach the next generation with the Gospel.
